TVB's a chinese channel where i guess most chinese (from hong kong/cantonese speaking resident) would or if not should have. Its a cantonese channel full of all sorts of programmes including Chinese drama soaps, Entertainment programmes, news and more (just cant think of any atm lol)
For you Chinese spinners in UK, just wondering whether uz lot have this??

bleh i used to watch TVB when i lived in Hong Kong, but then i stopped watching TV when i returned to England as i just could not understand the entertainment anymore, it bored me as hell watching those dramas....

yh i know! but I enjoyed watching those Soap programmes, some are extremely terrible yet they do have some good ones.

Usually very old shows are broadcasted like the ones back in the 80's/90's ._. Nya~

The mags that is sent don't have the English translation of show times and stuff >.<;

Then again, nothing is good to watch... the watcha' ma call gambling dice affair show is like "plotting" to kill instead (bored me...).

I see why you said that, I think its mainly coz the 80s/90s programmes normally come on at like midday and afternoons, but da good soaps are normally broadcasted at 7:25pm, 9:00pm etc. They are normally evenings
Some resent good ones are probably:
- Men Don’t Cry (奸人堅) (finished)
- The master of Tai chi (太極) (finished)
- Wars of the In-Laws II (野蠻奶奶大戰戈師奶) (on going)
- D.I.E. (古靈精探) (on going)
etc.

and u must hav heard of this 'Heart of greed (溏心風暴) which was like a HUGE hit. But i didnt particularly find this one dat good...

But anyway yh those ones are not bad at all.

I rarely see any animation on TVB, it there was it's gonna be some crappy chinese subbed rubbish anime. lol.
They used to have English subtitles for Chinese dramas and something else and asked people to vote whether they liked chinese subs or english subs... but very few vote Eng so they left it like dat... :S
